Microsoft has expanded access to Loop Workspaces, making them generally available for Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Standard, and Premium subscribers. Previously limited to enterprise plans, Loop gives teams a flexible collaborative canvas that syncs content across Teams, Outlook, and OneNote.
Loop Workspaces are now available to millions more Microsoft 365 users.
What You Get with Loop Workspaces
- Shared Workspaces with Persistent Pages
- Loop Components Sync Across M365 Apps
- Real-Time Collaborative Editing
Admins can manage Loop access via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center under Settings > Org Settings > Loop.
Our Take
This is the right call, but Microsoft is underselling how disruptive it'll be. Users have built years of muscle memory around that Chat / Teams split — expect a wave of support tickets the week it lands. Get ahead of it with a quick communication to your users before it shows up, not after.
